Deviating from her usual tumbling hair style, Kate sported a plaited updo which conveniently showed off the intricate detailing on her teal gown by Jenny Packham, one of her favourite designers.
She accessorised her glamourous ensemble with a matching clutch, diamond drop earrings and the same Jimmy Choo heels she wore to a private dinner earlier in the week.

Dressed to the nines, Kelly joked: 'Well you have got to make a bit of an effort when those two are here.'
Inside, Prince William was on fine form and referred to himself as a 'mere mortal' when he took centre stage to address the 3,000 guests.
